STOUGHTON TRAILERS LLC Facilities Mechanic in STOUGHTON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on automobiles, forklifts, and other powered transportation equipment such as golf carts. Conduct thorough inspections of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components. Execute routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine overhauls, and tire replacements. Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Conduct test drives to assess vehicle performance and diagnose malfunctions. Specialized Repairs: Address hydraulic and ignition system repairs. Specialize in repairing and maintaining engine parts. Equipment Handling: Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks. Use hydraulic jacks and hoists to lift vehicles or equipment. Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations. General Duties: Perform work with little supervision Maintain good record keeping techniques on all equipment and continually updates records. Perform urgent repairs to maintain production uptime. Performs cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility. Accountability to complete work on time and with a high degree of quality. Monitor contractor performance and work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications. Required travel between Stoughton, Evansville and Brodhead plants. Ability to work overtime as needed; some weekends could be mandatory. Other duties may be assigned by the company.
