SUMMARY
The Maintenance Planner works with the Maintenance Supervisors in developing the scheduled maintenance programs and processes for all ERU productions facilities to minimize impact on their productions. The Maintenance Planner pre-evaluates the need or replacement s and places orders. The incumbent plans for interruptions in the work and develops plans to minimize the interruptions for the production facilities. The Maintenance Planner insures compliance to all accounting and supply chain procedures/policies are followed in relation to performing their duties. The Maintenance Planner must be able to work weekends and is on call 24/7. This position has the ability to work close to one of our many locations but needs to be able to travel onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage maintenance data collection
Gather information to more effectively provide planned maintenance service through Maintenance Connect (CMMS)
Correct equipment and machines when the design duty cannot be achieved and then return them to design specification
Maintain assets highest profitably for the life of the organization
Organize/file equipment information, manuals and documentation, including entering new assets and PM’s
Serve as Maintenance Connect Administrator, including access/training for MC, resolving MC issues, generate reports for MOR, create preventative maintenance work orders and other MC functions
Generate all preventive maintenance work orders and that they are completed in allotted time frame
Works with Engineering Manager and Accounting to define needs and develop reports to accurately track spending to budget
Organize and maintain proper inventory levels on daily used and critical components
Keep inventory indentified and stored in proper location
Perform physical inventory of parts twice a year and weekly spot inventory checks
Propose technical and organizational improvements to line management
Apply any environmental regulations and ensure they are respected; propose improvements
Promote and participate in Emmi Operational Excellence throughout the facilities
Adhere to ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP OSHA)
Maintain complete confidentiality of information regarding ERU products, recipes and employee information
Performs all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five years of experience in industrial manufacturing
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication abilities both written and verbal
Knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCAD, Maintenance Connect or CMMS software
Accurate and trustworthy wit a positivie attitude and embraces change in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Able to work productively within a team environment
Able to travel to all Emmi Roth facilities and JV’s as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Maintenance Planner may have to spend up to 8 hours standing, bending, twisting, turning, using arms and hands for reaching, throwing, handling, and manipulating objects, lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, need to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other climbing devices, be able to see naturally or with correction, to safely perform designated tasks. The Maintenance Planner may have to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of members, residents, clients and contractors. The Maintenance Planner will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks. The office may be noisy and busy making it difficult for the Maintenance Planner to concentrate. The Maintenance Planner will have to manage a number of requests and situations at one time.
