Research and Development programs in 6 therapy areas encompass pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical substances with highly diverse forms of administration. PDTS (Process Development and Technical Services) in Austria operates in a global environment collaborating with over 30 locations worldwide to develop processes and analytical methods for new substances as well as to support large-scale production for approved medication. PDTS strives to find innovative ways of successfully implementing product-related ideas for the benefit of our patients.
The Tech Transfer Lead:
Leads global technology transfers (for Cell Banking, Drug Substance and Drug Product) for clinical and commercial products out of Biologics and Plasma Operating Unit, lead TT for in- and outsourcing/-licensing projects (CMO, DD,…)
Leads cross-functional, global project teams using Shire´s TT standard business processes
Reports and presents project status to Shire PDTS & Technical Operations leadership
Supports development of business processes for global TT projects & processes
Acts as technical team lead for evaluation and selection of CMOs or DD projects
Supports feasibility studies for new business opportunities and strategic evaluations
Works as a strong lead but also acts as team member cross functional teams
Applies PM methodology and leadership skills to define scope, budget and timelines
Skills you need:
Master's degree in biotech, natural science or plant technology
Project management education or experience (certification PMP or IPMA welcome)
Min. 5 years of experience in biotech, pharma or engineering; e.g. in pharmaceutical production or managing international projects
GMP knowledge, business process development & optimization, strong intercultural skills, leading virtual teams, presentation skills, Strong business acumen, MS Office & MS project proficiency
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)

The minimum salary for this position is € 4.094,41 gross per month (full-time); increased payment is possible. We are looking forward to your application.
