Commercial Operations Specialist The Commercial Operations Specialist is pivotal in ensuring data integrity across our global business operations. This role focuses on implementing data best practices, establishing a data governance framework, driving data quality control, and developing data management policies. Key responsibilities include supporting the global business in maintaining high data standards and identifying and implementing best practices for customer, vendor, and material master data governance. Acting as the Center of Excellence for master data, this role leads efforts to enhance data processes and improve data integrity. Additionally, the Commercial Operations Specialist will support SAP integrations, Ecommerce (Web Order Center), forecasting tools, and other integrated platforms, ensuring consistent data quality. This position is essential for streamlining and optimizing the efficiency of our global business operations. Responsibilities Create, manage, and maintain enterprise data records in SAP ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Data elements may include materials, customers, vendors, and others. Center of Excellence for the material set up, customer master set up and Vendor set up workflow, continuing to optimize and drive improvements in the process. Data Quality Control: Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across systems. Support the Global organization with their data inquiries, issue resolution, and overall assistance as it pertains to data records. Escalate any constraints, challenges, and critical delays. Monitor Open Data requests and proactively push for timely completion. Develop and implement best practice data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity. Identify and solve data-related issues, troubleshoot errors, and propose solutions. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within enterprise data management processes. Collaborate with internal teams to implement such opportunities. Provide training and support to end-users on enterprise data processes and best practices. Provide audit support and documentation as requested by internal/external auditors. Drive internal control and process compliance through engagement and vigilance. Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal standards. Clear understanding of the impact of master data within the organization and integrations with other platforms (Ecommerce, Global Trade, Forecasting etc). Partner with business BPO's, IT peers and technical manage service teams. Provide advanced ability to organize, prioritize, troubleshoot, document, and escalate to meet deliverables. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment that works with both internal customers as well as offshore support; ability to work collaboratively with business.
