Position Purpose

Liberator Medical Supply, a BD company, seeks a passionate and strategic Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead the charge in building best-in-class applications for customers.

In this crucial role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You'll meticulously lead the testing of our products to identify and address defects, ensuring they meet our highest standards of performance, reliability, and usability. Your work will directly contribute to delivering a seamless and positive experience for our customers, helping us achieve our mission of providing innovative and dependable software solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a culture of quality excellence within the organization.

  • Mentor, guide, and build a team of QA and SDET engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Develop, implement, and own a comprehensive test automation strategy to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability.

  • Implement robust versioning practices for test automation steps to ensure smooth promotion through development environments.

  • Proactively communicate updates and deliver quality metric reports to leadership. Leverage data to identify quality gaps and implement strategic improvements.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of test cases.

  • Drive and manage release activities, ensuring high-confidence sign-off.

  • Own and maintain testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for automated test executions.

  • Ensure comprehensive manual and automation test coverage, overseeing the execution of feature, regression, and UAT testing.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle.

  • Take ownership of test reports, analyze quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement by evaluating root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement targeted solutions.

  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and security of test data which mimics real-world scenarios and customer usage patterns.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize QA processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in software development methodologies, design patterns, and automated testing tools.

  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in testing tools, HIPAA regulations, and secure testing practices.

Reporting Relationship Responsibilities

  • Provides work direction plus has responsibility for hiring, promotions, transfers, performance management, discipline, and discharge.

Minimum Requirements or Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a QA Manager, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing agile testing processes, fostering collaboration, and delivering high quality solutions.

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance management, with a focus on automated testing.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software testing standard methodologies.

  • A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Deep understanding of automated testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

  • Strong experience with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong technical background in software development, including object-oriented programming and design principles.

  • Experience implementing and managing test automation using AccelQ is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in Jira and familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Copado) a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce (Commerce, Health Cloud, Service, Experience, and Marketing Clouds), MuleSoft, Azure technologies (.Net, Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB), APIs (SOAP & REST), and legacy WinForm application testing a plus.

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-related processes and data preferred.

  • Experience managing onshore and contracted QA teams in different countries and working collaboratively with geographically distributed development teams.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical and non-technical collaborators.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading QA efforts on large-scale.
