JOB REQUIREMENTS: Marine Travelift Inc., in Sturgeon Bay, WI is excited to be adding a full-time Accountant to our team. As our Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing accurate and timely reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in budget preparation. As our Accountant, you will Maintain and update general ledger accounts to show a complete and accurate record of the company\'s financial activity. This will include ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded as well as reconciling bank statements and financial discrepancies. Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets to be able to analyze forecasts and projections. Assist with month end financial close procedures including account reconciliations and other required reporting to maintain the accuracy of financial records. Provide support with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable and train as a backup. Analyze financial data to identify trends and offer recommendations and support based on those findings. Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned. Possess strong analytical skills, have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Have advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
