JOB REQUIREMENTS: Equipment Maintenance Tech I - 162870 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Weekly paychecks and Early Access Option * Starting pay range - \$25.00/HR Full-time Schedule * Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2pm - 10:30PM Benefits * Medical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days of employment * Paid Leave Time earned * Even more perks: 401K with company match, tuition reimbursement, on-site grocery store, discounted child care services and a wellness program that puts money back in your pocket for living a healthy lifestyle PURPOSE Responsible for the prompt minor repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance of material handling equipment Job Responsibilities * Provide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment * Efficiently prioritizes repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule * Troubleshoot equipment problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions * Provide improvements required to ensure compliance to safety regulation to DC and safety team * Ensure that department is appropriately stocked with part and tools needed to preform their job * Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc, on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes * Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs * Modify and tests equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability * Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs * Follows all safety policies and procedures strictly Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Job Requirements * 2-3 years of technical maintenance or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training Experience * 1-2 years of on-the-job experience with electronics and mechanical equipment * Machining and fabrication experience helpful Preferred Knowledge/Skills * Understanding of Safety guidelines * Able to read and understand blueprints and technical reference manuals * Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures * Excellent mechanical aptitude * Ability to work well independently Physical Environment/Demands * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently * Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation * Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures * Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment * Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
