Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Field Service Engineer based out of Germany to be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment.


  • Act as a liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations

  • Communicate service delivery health to all stakeholders and explain any performance issues or risks

  • Ensure cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime

  • Hold performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends

Here's what you need:

  • A Bachelors degree plus 3 years of recent IT specialized experience, OR an Associates degree plus 7 years of recent IT specialized experience, OR a major certification (DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications) plus 7 years of recent IT specialized experience; OR 11 years of recent specialized experience to include: 3+ years of Linux Systems experience, 1+ years of experience supporting distributed systems in an enterprise production environment or mission command experience

  • 1+ years working with and understanding networking, including addressing, sub-netting, routing, and troubleshooting techniques

  • Must have a Security+ certification

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% and have a current US Passport

Bonus points if you have/are:

  • Experience in the USAF, particularly as a Combat Controller (1C5), TACP/JTAC preferred

  • Field Operations experience

  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.

  • Collect customer requirements and train users.

  • Willingness to work occasional long hour days and weekends when necessary.

  • Desire to learn new technologies to share and build knowledge with the teams.

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance in DISS to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

California: $90,700 - $170,200

Colorado: $90,700 - $147,100

New York: $83,900 - $170,200

Washington: $96,600 - $156,600
