Robert Half Billing Specialist in Sugar Creek, Missouri
Description We are in the search for a methodical Billing Clerk to join our team in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry, located in SUGAR CREEK, Missouri, United States. The role involves the execution of daily billing support activities for our businesses. You will be working closely with the Billing Supervisor and the Shared Services Manager, providing essential support to our subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and distribute customer invoices as per the schedule
• Handle the processing of approved credit memos and debit memos on customer accounts
• Undertake the review, research, and resolution of customer account issues
• Manage the monthly distribution of customer statements
• Keep track of and maintain batch tickets
• Execute other duties as assigned by the management team
• Leverage your skills in Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Resolve Discrepancies to accomplish tasks efficiently. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role within the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated skills in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proven ability to resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
