Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will read schematics, hook up drives, and build controls. You will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems including AC Drives/Motors, DC Drives/Motors, Servo Drives/Motors, PLC, HMI, and closed-loop control systems. You will also handle 480V & 600 amps and CNC controls. Mechanically, you will work with drills, grinders, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, vacuum pumps, lubrication systems, and lathes. Proficiency with tools such as VOM, oscilloscope, IR temperature probe, multimeter, megger, and DC & AC amperage clamp meter is required.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Sumter, South Carolina.
Work Environment
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (30 min lunch). Overtime may be required occasionally with prior notice. Must be comfortable working earlier or later if there is a shutdown or machine issues. Two of the plants are climate controlled; the paint line isn't due to the furnace, and the warehouse isn't but has fans. The company supplies racks and fixtures for manufacturing companies, Home Depot, Lowe's, Advanced Auto, etc.
