Position Overview:

The Portable Plant Loader Operator will be responsible for moving material, stockpiling, and loading trucks. The Portable Plant Loader Operator is a full-time, seasonal position that requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Job Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.

  Essential Duties and Functions:

• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects

• Operate loader moving material, stockpiling, and loading trucks using a scale

• Operate the loader in a safe and productive manner

• Complete pre and post-shift inspections and other required paperwork

• Fuel, grease, maintain and help service other equipment

• Operate and maintain other equipment as needed

• Work well with crew members and take direction from the supervisor

• Help set up, tear down, and move the batch plant to other locations

• Maintain conveyor belts and help keep the plant running smoothly

• Use hand tools to maintain and repair equipment

• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)

  Position Requirements:

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test

• Transportation to and from work and travel to various job locations as needed

• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal

  Physical Requirements:
