Google Director, Product Marketing Infrastructure, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in tech product marketing roles, including in an enterprise context.

  • Experience working with cloud technology in infrastructure and application modernization, and leading product marketing teams across multiple product and solution areas.

  • Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with groups across Marketing as well as leaders in Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and partner teams.

  • Experience managing multiple teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.

  • Experience leading global teams, direct or dotted line.

  • Experience operating in a hyper-growth/entrepreneurial environment and scaling new and emerging products.

As the Director of Product Marketing for Infrastructure and Application Modernization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Google Cloud. You will be responsible for the product marketing of these core areas: AI infrastructure, Apigee, General Compute/Storage/Networking, Google Distributed Cloud, Sovereignty, and Telco. You will also be responsible for the team leading Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). You will work closely with product management, engineering, industry solutions, sales, and partner teams, and be responsible for developing positioning, messaging, and content across all channels (e.g. web, events, campaigns). You will manage a team of product marketers and collectively create great stories that highlight the business value of Google Cloud solutions. You will work cross-functionally to implement go-to-market strategies, interfacing with leaders across industries and across regions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $243,000-$350,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive the overall product marketing vision and execution by partnering closely with the Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to create a comprehensive strategy and global marketing plan.

  • Develop messaging and marketing initiatives that align with the different types of customers for our cloud products and solutions (e.g., developers, CIOs, open source communities).

  • Build thought leadership, content, and tools for marketing campaigns and web.

  • Develop the narrative for key industry moments such as Cloud Next, Cloud Summits, Major Partner Summits, etc.
