The Carrier Services team is the server engineering team focused on integrating Apple Retail Stores and Online with the wireless carriers for seamless iPhone provisioning and activation. Utilizing the latest technologies including gRPC, Spring Reactor, Cassandra and Kafka, we seek to provide a highly-scalable platform for our clients.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead all aspects of the design and implementation of various upcoming projects, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality results. As a key contributor to our team, this person will have a visible impact on the success of internal and cross-functional projects, working with engineers as well as business partners both internally and outside the company. You will lead projects both small and large, coordinate meetings, and help to identify and address hurdles to project success though effective collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or similar
Experience with collaboration tools like Quip, Confluence, Slack
Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (i.e., Waterfall, Agile)
Experience in High Tech or Retail industry

Ability to read and write Japanese
Experience working with 3rd parties
Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Proven track record of delivering projects on time
Proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across a variety of business units
Ability to lead, take action and provide goal-oriented direction in the face of ambiguity

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
