Our client, is seeking a Manual Tester to join their team. As a Manual Tester, you will be part of the department. supporting team.
Job Title: Manual Tester
Location: San Diego, CA
What’s the Job?
Work in coordination with QA and Dev engineers to load builds and execute tests.
Perform basic analysis to validate test data and assess observed issues for regressions.
Troubleshoot technically complex system problems to identify root causes.
Availability during standard working hours, with potential flexibility for longer working days and/or weekends as required by role/experiments.
Completion of all scheduled tests within allotted timeframes.
Clear documentation of defect reports with necessary logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc.
Assessment of reported defects for regressions compared to mainline builds.
What’s Needed?
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Bluetooth protocols, packet sniffers, audio digital signal processing, and embedded firmware consumer electronics.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality engineering.
