Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational excellence through automation and engineering procedures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integration of development and operations processes, to deliver best-in-class, highly available systems. Primary Responsibilities Maintain and evolve DevOps processes and procedures Automate build and deployment systems Collaborate with peers to achieve scalable, robust, and performant deployments
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field with 7+ years experience
Successful track-record and proven experience as a backend internet services software engineer in a high-level language such as Golang (preferred), C++, Java or Python or equivalent.
Successful track-record and proven experience of leading projects from design to launch, using business needs to determine velocity and scope
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with development within Kubernetes ecosystem, including operator framework and controllers
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud)
Experience with source code management systems (e.g. Git, Perforce, Subversion)
Experience with Splunk for log analysis
Experience with large-scale systems and deployment paradigms (e.g. Canary, A/B)
Experience with load balancers and traffic delivery mechanisms (e.g. NGINX, Apache)
Experience with CVEs, OWASP, and compliance

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
