Within the Information Systems and Technology group, the Enterprise and Retail Network team is charged with the creation and care of the technology which connects all of Apple’s infrastructure and services. We deliver robust, reliable, and secure connectivity at all of Apple’s locations worldwide, supporting the innovation and growth of our incredible teams

Description

We are looking for project managers who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. The ideal candidate can act as a full partner with a large and diverse group of internal and external teams in order to ensure the continued evolution and delivery of various network engineering and deployment efforts. An authority in the fundamentals of project management, you know how to: balance conflicting partner priorities, identify and address for potential risks to the project plan, successfully handle communications to all levels of the organization including senior leadership, and build an extensive professional network of business partners. As an empowered member of Enterprise Network Delivery, you will facilitate the delivery of sophisticated network solutions—expected to understand complicated and subtle interdependencies, as well as evaluate new information and how it affects or is affected by those systems and project timelines. You will also be encouraged to identify, develop, and implement process improvements to documentation, tooling, and other deliverables in scope for the Project Management Office. You are a self starter with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, as well as an inspiring leader among your peers with the ability to turn ideas into deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill in presenting to all levels of an organization

  • Experience delivering projects optimally with multiple technical and business teams

  • Ability to balance multiple independent and dependent projects in parallel

  • Proven experience in multiple vendor management

  • Experience in ongoing process improvement

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall project management experience

  • Previous network engineering or support experience

  • Experience in team leadership and peer mentorship

  • Able to assess & mitigate risk, manage change, and work in a very fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in MacOS, iPad OS, and iOS

  • Proficient in common collaboration and efficiency applications (MacOS, iPad OS, iOS, MS Office, Wrike, or equivalent)

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
