The Supplier Carbon Solutions team is responsible for transitioning Apple’s global supply chain to renewable energy, while encouraging facility-level carbon reductions and innovations via energy efficiency and direct emissions abatement.

Description

  • Build and develop internal business processes to enable programmatic scale and efficiency - Drive and lead efforts in annual supply chain wide collection of Greenhouse Gas inventory, the construction of new tools/platforms, and annual reporting/compliance requirements - Develop the tools needed to build supply chain capacity needed to address GHG emission profiles and options for reducing carbon footprints. - Partner closely with cross-functional Apple teams (supplier development, data and systems, Environment+Policy) - Build consensus among internal and external stakeholders in support of new, innovative tools and system development - Clearly communicate to non-technical or non-environmental audiences

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • You are passionate about scaling environmental solutions for the global industrial sector.

  • You have extraordinary program and project management experience, able to run and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales

  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to influence; you are able to communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience

  • You are curious; able to learn quickly and adapt in a new and complex sector

  • You are self-motivated, pro-active, and a self-starter, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

  • You have a broad understanding of various renewable energy technologies, including engineering, economic and policy factors

  • Bachelors degree in environmental science, economics/business, or other technical/data fields

  • Advanced degree in project management or management science with 3+ years of professional experience is a plus

  • Willingness to travel 5-10% internationally as needed

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
