The Sr Plant Controller is a senior-level manager that is responsible for driving financial performance, implementing internal controls, and providing insights to support operational decision-making. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management and reporting for our manufacturing facility.

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the plant, working closely with operational teams to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.

· Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and providing insights to drive improvement.

· Prepare monthly financial reports and dashboards for plant management and corporate stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics and trends.

· Partner with senior plant management to develop short- and long-term strategic forecasting and planning initiatives to meet inventory, productivity, and financial goals.

· Manage accurate accounting classification of all expenditures.

· Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and timely and accurate reporting of all plant accounting ledgers and other financial and statistical reports.

· Determine the best financial approach to meet productivity and financial goals while maintaining budget controls.

· Coordinate internal and external audits, providing support and documentation as needed to ensure successful audit outcomes.

· Monitor and analyze financial risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

· Manage the day-to-day plant accounting activity, developing, and implementing solutions to daily accounting issues.

· Maintain the plant’s financial, statistical and productivity reports and reporting systems.

· Prepare month-end accruals, deferrals, and other journal entries as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness of management reporting.

· Perform other duties as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

· 8-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 3-5 years of management experience.

Develops intermediate understanding of people management practices and managing small teams of direct reports.

· Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals.

· Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact.

· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.

· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

· Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

· High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
