JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21150 POSITION: Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II - Business Title: Twin Cities Regional Admissions Counselor, AE084, 100%, Academic Staff, 12-month Ongoing/Renewable, one vacancy POSITION SUMMARY: This is a remote, regional position that is required to reside in the Twin Cities metro area. This position plans, develops, coordinates, manages, and executes the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution\'s strategic goals focusing on the Twin Cities. This role also represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area. UW-STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES: Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities. Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures. Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events. Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution. Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement. Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals. Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences. Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission. Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area. STARTING DATE: As soon as possible. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Experience working in a student services office within a college/university.
