Military service members and veterans with a rank of E-5 or higher plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Supervise daily maintenance planning efforts for outage and non-outage work at nuclear stations. Provide job planning support for all maintenance work, improvements, or changes and corrective action. Supervise and provide direction to Planning personnel in the performance of maintenance activities. Allocate daily planning resources to support station improvement and maintenance activities. Initiate, approve and monitor materials request to support maintenance activities. Interface with other departments to establish, monitor and improve performance indicators of station work activities. Interface with other departments to schedule daily maintenance planning support and to identify improvements in planning or work processes. Maintain all department procedures current and recommend improvements as work control processes change. Review and analyze work statistics to identify areas for improvement. Perform pre-job, in progress, and post job reviews of work performed in the plant.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-7+ years of experience with thorough knowledge of the plant, maintenance practices, equipment, work practices, work planning software, department organization, and station procedures.

-Must have the ability to allocate resources to full effect, anticipate obstacles and develop plans to overcome them.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s): Technical Studies

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
