JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: Under the direction of Ownership, the Maintenance employee is responsible for building, machine and vehicle maintenance, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Equipment Responsible for routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance including documentation. Responsible to provide timely updates to production for all machine downtime issues. Responsible for all lifting hardware and straps. Vehicles Maintain all company vehicles including over the road vehicles, fork trucks, lawn tractors, man lifts, etc. Other Complete special projects as assigned. This may include light electrical, plumbing, or construction type activities. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Be respectful to co-workers and be part of an environment that fosters teamwork. May be asked to work overtime at short notice. May assist in Shipping & Receiving and other departments. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Three to five years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, customer specifications, or governmental regulations. Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and expense reports. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to negotiate and close sales contracts favorable to the organization. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Order processing systems and Database software. Certificates and Licenses: Requires a valid driver\'s license.
