Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

We are currently looking for a qualified Key Account Manager who will be responsible for supporting Lundbeck’s Neurology portfolio. The role is a permanent full-time, based in NSW, QLD and VIC, covering a section of a metropolitan and regional area. As our Key Account Manager, you will report to the National Sales Manager, and you will operate with the goal of being highly effective, motivated, innovative, and collaborative in order to achieve sales objectives for Lundbeck Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting our products across the private and public sectors, to consistently deliver high customer value and achieve high customer engagement.

As our Key Account Manager your core responsibilities will cover day-to-day running of your business, including analysing market data, developing, and executing on key account management plans, delivering on commercial targets across private and public sectors and ensuring you have successfully partnered with key decision makers and influences within the account. You will as well ensure a seamless patient experience by connecting relevant health care service providers. With your experience you will be responsible for the implementation of relevant promotional activities and campaigns in alignment with sales and marketing plans. Being a role model for cross functional collaboration, you will hold positive internal relationships with stakeholders in alignment to the key account management objectives.

What you bring to the team

We are looking for a self-motivated individual that demonstrates a high degree of initiative, the ability to work independently, with proven experience in delivering against objectives. The candidate must have the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation as well as highly developed organisational skills, which are essential for this role.

  • The selected candidate will ideally have following qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications essential, science or business preferred

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Specialist Representative

  • Previous experience in a Key Account Manager role highly regarded

  • Previous experience in Migraine therapeutic area highly regarded

  • Existing relationships with Neurologist/headache specialist

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
