The AMS Repair team is looking for a Business Manager to own the performance and growth of Amazon Resale in Australia. Amazon Resale sells returned and repaired products, maximizing recovery and minimizing waste.
In this role, you will:
Own the AU repair network, managing the relationships with Amazon's repair partners and internal Relo fulfillment centers to optimize performance.
Deliver high repair efficiency through close management of input and output metrics. Taking data driven decisions in partnership with stakeholders.
Help grow the business through on-boarding new partners, developing new repair models, and being the voice of repair for future tech and product improvements.
Uphold a high standard for our customers, ensuring that products sold on Amazon Resale have undergone meticulous repair processes, delighting customers and preventing further defects.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Tech, Finance, and others. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done is essential, as you will be working in a start-up or early-stage environment. You will define best practices, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and act as a subject matter expert (SME), paving the way for future team members to support this highly strategic and fast-growing area of the business.
Our team operates out of our fabulous CBD office conveniently located near many transportation.

Key job responsibilities
Owning the Amazon Resale business and financial performance, input, defect metrics.
Owning the commercial agreements with Repair vendor business-2-business (B2B customers).
Conducting Request for Proposals (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyers.
Making business decisions to optimize recovery across channels.
Improving customer experience for buyers.
Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectives.
Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationships.
Working cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Finance and Operations partners including setting standard cadences and processes for partnership.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
