If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States or its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency.*The specialized experience must have been where your duties involved work utilizing the following skills:• Strategic planning, project management or program management • Experience working with Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.

Duties Description Standard Duties: The primary work of this position will be to, in partnership with community organizations, support regional workforce planning, including aligning stakeholder efforts and replicating successful training models. Additional duties include:• Work with regional leaders to map workforce development opportunities.• Participate in the Future Ready Workforce Innovation Consortium (FRWIC).• Help convene regional organizations to evaluate and build their interest and capacity.• Help align regional funding streams to support related programming.• Monitor training programs to ensure quality and consistency and help troubleshoot issues• Identify community-based organizations and service providers to help recruit candidates and provide wrap-around services.• Ensure training and support services are streamlined.• Help schedule and coordinate regional training opportunities including tours, instructors, guest speakers, etc.• Other assignments as needed/directed by Management.

Additional Comments The duration of this temporary assignment is expected to last approximately 2 years. This position may require a fingerprint background check prior to appointment.Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or out-stationed assignments.Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
