Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sanitation Worker.

Position type: Full-time (Contract to Hire)
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Syracuse, NY

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be:

• Sweep and mops floors, cleans windows; cleans restrooms and fixtures; cleans and maintains lunch and break rooms.
• Strips and waxes tiled floors as required, vacuums, buffs and waxes floors.
• Replace light bulbs as needed.
• Clean offices, including dusting desks and other areas.
• Disposes of trash and operate trash compactor; disposes of cardboard and operate cardboard bailer.
• Assists in moving furniture as required or requested.
• Perform external facility work as required or requested, to include lawn work and snow removal.
• Ensures sidewalks are kept clear and snow melts is placed along the walkways to keep it safe for anyone who enters or leaves the building.
• Performs pest control activities as required or requested.
• Awareness/knowledge of cGMP standards and their impact on the plant as well as individual departments.
• Work with team to solve issues.
• Maintain maintenance/cleaning documentation.
• Assists with special projects as required or requested.
• Promotes a safe and harmonious work environment.
• Maintains compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent and previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing sanitation/custodial work.
• Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
