In this position you will have a key role in securing that Grundfos products and offerings meet global environmental compliance obligations, and you will have a direct impact on improving our product compliance program across the entire value chain. You will become part of a dedicated team with colleagues in both Denmark and Hungary. You will be working directly in the drinking water team located in Hungary. What is the job about?

  • Enable that our products hold the necessary drinking water approvals, thus our products do not worsen or contaminate the water intended for human consumption.

  • Coordinate and drive the approval process in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Advise on country specific drinking water approvals during development projects and during the lifetime of the product (primarily in Europe).

  • Contribute to developing and implementing processes to cover new regulations in Europe.

Your main responsibilities:

Compliance Management

  • Support product management and product development with managing, coordinating and planning drinking water certifications on products in scope throughout the lifecycle of the product.

  • Above support is not limited to drinking water approvals, it may be extended to food contact materials, biocides or other product regulations.

  • Plan approval and compliance activities and ensure progress and keep momentum during execution.

  • Monitor progress and delivery risk, and communicate status to relevant stakeholders.

  • Keep progress overviews up to date.

  • Support non-compliance investigations and countermeasures.

  • Follow and keep track of approval and compliance requirements in relevant markets.

  • Deliver multiple approvals/compliance on time, or highlight risks and potential bottlenecks on time.

Improving ways of working and knowledge sharing

  • Contribute to the improvement and modernization of the drinking water compliance area including data, processes, knowledge sharing and trainings.

  • Document and share specialist knowledge concerning drinking water and related regulations, requirements, standards and our internal compliance processes.

  • Keep Good network with key stakeholders across the whole organization.

What do you need to apply?

We imagine you have:

  • University degree or equivalent in the field of engineering, materials science, chemical engineering with an affinity to standards and regulations

  • Experience working with standards, regulations and third-party approvals

  • Persistence to solve problems

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written

  • Willingness to learn and dig into new areas of compliance

  • Good communicator

  • Proactive and conscientious

  • Good project manager, ability to secure momentum and solve bottlenecks and ability to plan and follow up on tasks

  • Outgoing persistent and influential

  • Autonomous and accurate.
