Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Tacoma, Washington. The role is primarily involved in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintaining an up-to-date record of customer credit information
• Resolving customer credit inquiries swiftly and professionally
• Regular monitoring of customer credit accounts
• Taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments
• Handling account reconciliation tasks to keep financial records accurate
• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Assisting in billing processes and invoice processing
• Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to accomplish tasks
• Performing data entry tasks in an efficient and accurate manner. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Familiar with Billing procedures
• Skilled in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of SAP systems
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
