Those who cannot meet the minimum requirements will not be contacted. * Powder Coating Systems is currently hiring an experienced Powder Coater for our Day Shift. This position works Monday through Friday from 5AM to 1:30 PM. This is a full time, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $20-24 per hour. We offer six paid holidays a year. We also offer Paid Time Off (PTO) that accrues starting the first day of employment and that can be used after the initial ninety days. We also offer a Sales Based Bonus based on jobs completed per month. This bonus is paid quarterly.  This position is responsible for:  -Identifying the jobs on our schedule to be coated.  -Retrieving the powder and weighing prior to coating.  -Setting up the booth to shoot.  -Identifying the racks to be coated.  -Inspecting the racks prior to blowing off to ensure prep and masking were completed.  -Coating the racks per standard.  -Moving racks from booth to oven for melt and cure following the cure instructions on the work order.  -Cleaning the booth out between color changes and at end of shift.  -Documenting ending weight on work orders.  -Assisting the floor while waiting for racks.  -Following instructions from the Supervisor regarding order of jobs to be coated.  This position requires standing, bending, pushing racks in and out of a large oven, lifting up to fifty pounds repetitively, and repetitive movement. *Our coaters are required to wear a dust mask/respirator while coating. All employees are required to wear hearing protection and steel/composite toe footwear. * *The minimum requirements for the position include: * -2-5 years of Powder Coating experience. (We are looking for an experienced coater to assist us during this busy season.)  -Must have a Driver's License. (Every employee in our shop gets certified on our sit-down forklifts. Having a license is required prior to training if needed.) -Must have reliable transportation to get to work on time daily. (Pierce Transit does have a stop nearby, but it isn't reliable to have our employees here at 5AM.)  -Must have required I-9 documentation to complete the I-9 on their first day. (We are required by law to verify the original documents to complete the form. We cannot accept copies.)  -Must be fluent in English. (Our work orders and schedules are written in English.) * The following are not mandatory requirements, but would be helpful:  -Experience with driving a sit-down forklift, air tools, hand tools and maintaining powder coating equipment.  -Forklift experience and experience using an indoor crane.  -Attention to detail.  -The ability to complete paperwork and follow instructions.
