Robert Half Housing Specialist Program Manager in Tacoma, Washington
Description
We are in search of a Housing Speicalist Program Manager for a non-profit organization providing social services to the community. This position is 100% on-site in Tacoma, WA.
In this role, you will oversee operations for several housing programs, supervise a small team, and ensure that program requirements are met. You will also handle customer and community relations, budgeting, safety, and long-term planning. This role is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise multiple programs and ensure the programs operate in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Oversee fiscal management tasks including budgeting, planning, and managing supply and staffing expenditures within programs.
• Foster and maintain relationships with external partners through community collaboration and meetings.
• Manage service-related issues and their resolutions, maintaining high-quality service.
• Evaluate contract deliverables to ensure fulfillment and maintain critical thinking in all aspects of the role.
• Develop and implement department safety policies, conduct case investigations, incident reports, and post-accident investigations.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning and long-term goals.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and coaching to supervisors leading teams, focusing on performance outcomes and budget considerations.
• Oversee the operation of housing programs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all program participants and staff.
Requirements
• Possess a degree in Social Services or a related field
• Demonstrable understanding and application of housing regulations
• Proven experience in Case Management
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Ability to develop, monitor, and evaluate program metrics and objectives
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Experienced in community engagement and building relationships
• Knowledge of safety management, with a focus on supportive housing environments
