PACE Staffing Network HR Administrative Assistant / Data Entry in Tacoma, Washington
This role is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing employee update or change requests. Will review documents for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies with employee and/or manager as needed. Tracks all activity in case management system, routes and/or escalates issues appropriately. requires an exceptional service-oriented individual, who self-driven, has solid organization skills and high attention to detail with the ability to prioritize their workload. Relates well to all kinds of people and has effective communication skills.
What You'll be Doing...
- Reviews and processes personnel action forms - such as new hire paperwork, internal transfers, pay and benefits questions etc.
- Collects paperwork, ensuring that forms are completed correctly prior to scanning and linking to appropriate work queue for operational processing
- Edits documents from system, and routes to appropriate areas within HR for final resolution.
- Generates and maintains accurate electronic records (such as performance review date changes, direct deposit changes, health and welfare plan eligibility issues, tuition assistance, verification of specialty certification pay
- May work with third party vendors (i.e., leave management, employment verifications, H&W enrollments, pension, survey providers) and verifies employment status requests that cannot be completed by external vendor
- Accurate alpha / numeric data entry
Performs accurate alpha/numeric data entry and Inputs information into HR database, ERP and Workday software
Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate...
- 2 years' experience in a Human Resources department, preferably in on-boarding, compensation, benefits, or employee data management (Health care environment experience preferred)
- Knowledge of employment, payroll, compensation, and benefit practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain composure at all times, practice attentive listening and demonstrates patience.
- Can work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines and frequent interruptions while maintaining high attention to details, accuracy, and speed
- Ability to set priorities and use good judgment when working both independently as well as collaboratively with the focus needed to achieve common objectives, goals, and results.
- Clear and succinct communicate and the ability to handle confidential/sensitive data with discretion.

- Pay rate: $24-$26 hr.
- Schedule: 7am to 4:30 pm
- Must be located in Washington State
