WTW JIRA Administrator Part-Time (Phinma) in Taguig, Philippines

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic JIRA Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience with JIRA software. The JIRA Intern will assist with various tasks related to JIRA administration, reporting, and process improvement, providing support to our project management and development teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in project management tools and software administration

Key Responsibilities

  • JIRA Support:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining JIRA projects, workflows, and custom fields under the guidance of senior team members

  • Support day-to-day operations, including user account management and issue resolution.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Help generate and maintain reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance.

  • Learn and use JIRA Query Language (JQL) to create and modify filters and queries.

  • User Assistance:

  • Provide support to users by answering questions and troubleshooting basic JIRA issues.

  • Assist in the creation and updating of user documentation and guides.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Contribute ideas for improving JIRA processes and configurations.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on how JIRA can better support project goals.

  • Learning & Development:

  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of JIRA and Agile methodologies

  • Collaborate with team members to apply knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios

The Requirements:

  • Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Basic understanding of project management tools and concepts; experience with JIRA is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
