Google Platform Hardware Engineer, Google Cloud in Taipei, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in board design, validation, and with design tools (e.g., schematic capture, layout tools, lab bring up, and debug)
Experience with server, storage, or networking motherboard/system hardware.
Experience with high speed design, signal integrity, and power distribution techniques.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
8 years of experience with enterprise class hardware systems design, data center engineering, server, storage, and networking products.
Experience solving complex system issues, technical innovation, and driving technical roadmap.
Experience with FPGA/CPLD design and interface with other disciplines including software, thermal, and mechanical.
Experience collecting and organizing details to reproduce and explain results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Lead a sub-system and hardware design on data center hardware products.
Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab.
Gather requirements, define high level architecture, execute hardware design, and product validation.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to productive designs and field support.
