What You'll Do
As a Regional Manager at Cisco, you will lead the region with a strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships, and enterprise sales planning and segmentation. This role involves positioning and promoting the partner value proposition, leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships. You will possesses strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment. This is a good opportunity to apply your sales leadership experience working with great sales teams and solutions using today’s most innovative technologies.
You’ll lead an account team of Account Managers and additional specialists, you will be responsible for hardware and service with significant growth in subsequent years. Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment and maximize our partner’s profit. Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota. Direct customer contact will comprise a large portion of this assignment and must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
Regional travel is required.
Who You Are
You are passionate about the customer experience and excited about new technology. You are a true teammate and love to learn. You have:
10+ years of sales management of a technical sales organization that includes account managers and systems engineers.
5+ years of sales experience with enterprise and Public Sector/ SP customers and able to provide specific examples of closing large, strategic deals.
