Job Title: Business Analyst, Oracle Financing Division (OFD) Location: Taipei

Department Description

Oracle Financing Division provides Oracle and its distribution partners financing and leasing acquisition solutions for Oracle products and services, and solutions build upon Oracle. OFD operates in over 70 countries and supports all of Oracle’s lines of businesses and distribution channels. OFD is a global leader in technology finance and seeks employees who can meet the demanding standards of Oracle customers and colleagues.

Brief Description

This position is responsible for finance functions to support OFD cloud business. This position will work closely with OFD Operations and other Finance teams to ensure OFD transactions are processed and recorded timely and accurately.

Detailed Description

Candidate will work on assignments related to functional areas which includes:

  • Perform functions for OFD Receivables which includes a broad range of responsibilities, such as:

  • Create future cloud deals in OFD Financial systems

  • Search for invoices and perform reconciliation to OFD Contracts

  • Review OFD Contracts and Oracle Financial Systems to identify discrepancies and errors

  • Perform AR Adjustment Reporting to Oracle/NetSuite

  • Maintain OFD Receivables deal data in OFD Financial systems

  • Support Month/Quarter-end Closing related activities

  • Research and respond to internal or external inquiries

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on deal issues

  • Review OFD Contracts and research Oracle and NetSuite Systems to summarize the deal profile and any midterm changes

  • Perform analysis based on the research and propose solutions to solve the issues

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide instructions to close open invoices and unapplied cash

  • Standardize and automate processes to improve efficiencies

  • Enhance OFD Receivables deal process

  • Streamline and standardize reporting process for Oracle and NetSuite

  • Establish and manage metrics

  • Perform special projects supporting the global business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree or above. MBA/CPA is a plus

  • With at least 5-7 years working experience in business operation functions (ex. Finance/Accounting, Sales support, Order/Contract management)

  • Proficient English written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. Advanced skills (ex. PowerBI, Python, Apex) are plus

  • Experience with systems and/or process improvement projects

  • Ability to think analytically, problem solve and focus attention to detail

  • Knowledge of basic finance concepts (such as discounting cash flows, net present value, internal rate of return, etc.)

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and able to work independently.

  • Good inter-personal skills and team player
