KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director, Account

Relationships for our Business Development Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales, alliance, Go-to-Market strategy and marketing efforts for KPMG's services for the Government (Federal, State & Local) and Healthcare Practice including achievement of sales goals and managing the win/loss and client success programs; leverage lessons learned to improve go-to-market initiatives

  • Build and sustain a high-performance team including hiring, mentoring and performance management responsibilities

  • Lead decision-making with sales teams and industry leadership on key, strategic deals to confirm pursuit teams are in place, working the right opportunities, and verifying pursuit resources and sales strategy

  • Lead and/or support prioritization of sales efforts, price to win, proposal development, competitive analysis and contracts coupled with the support of business development activities including overseeing of the pipeline health and coverage to achieve goals

  • Collaborate with KPMG client and industry teams to win new business and ensure strategies, solutions and focus is provided to address government trends

  • Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with key government executives and KPMG Leadership

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of sales experience with at least 5 years of demonstrated success in sales management

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance teams responsible for identifying, initiating, and nurturing new or on-going business opportunities

  • Exceptional Government (Federal, State & Local) and Healthcare Industry knowledge to identify market trends, dynamics and the ability to define Go-to-Market strategies to leverage market opportunities along with an in-depth knowledge of unique buying patterns and the ability to define winning sales strategies

  • Proven ability to work in a high matrixed environment across multiple industries, geographies and practice areas; ability to work collaboratively and influence others

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
