ManpowerGroup Material Handler in Tallahassee, Florida
Our Industrial client is seeking a temporary Materials Handler that performs duties to insure the timely and proper movement of material in the warehouse to the production floor, and outside raw material locations to support production, engineering, and customer orders. The duties will include inventory consolidation, picking/packing orders in our shipping department, putting away stock and replenishing locations. Unloading trucks. Package, ship and receive orders via UPS, DHL, Federal Express, Airborne, conventional air and common LTL carriers.

Pay Range: $16.00 hourly
Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Saturday with Sunday off)
What's the Job?
Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.
Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.
Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.
Coordinate material movements with 3 rd party logistics companies including rail providers
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.
What's Needed?
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Availability: 6 days a week. Monday - Saturday.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training
Quality Workmanship: Take pride in your quality of work, follow policies and procedures, take initiative to correct mistakes, and work in a fast paced environment.
Teamwork: Communicating in a respectful manner to supervisors and team members and be open to receiving feedback.
