Nextran Truck Centers Tallahassee Parts Counter Sales Person in Tallahassee, Florida

  • Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Provide and high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock.
  • Locate out-of-Stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Follow up on Back ordered parts.
  • Replenishes assigned inventory.
  • Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Make over the counter and telephone sales, invoice customers, and take payments.
  • Assist customers in part selection, provide technical information, and advice.
  • Promote sales by telephone, mail, and email.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

1+ year experience in the auto/diesel industry, parts counter sales, and/or sales experience in the industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Computer proficiency

High School Diploma Mathematical skills

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Required to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or more up to 50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
