The Experience Center (XC) operates as a software accelerator and innovation lab for Humana. Our cross-disciplinary team of human-centered technologists is dedicated to accelerating product exploration and development across the enterprise. The Portfolio Management Professional will serve as the primary liaison between the XC’s balanced teams and the broader organization. This role is essential for promoting Extreme Programming methodologies with our partner teams, in addition to ensuring clear communication with leadership. The Portfolio Manager helps ensure that our software development teams can deliver high-quality projects that meet the organization’s needs and contribute to its overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Support multiple balanced product teams, ensuring they are aligned with strategic goals and are enabled for success.
Facilitation: Coordinate communications and knowledge sharing between product teams, senior leaders, and key business stakeholders.
Performance Tracking : Monitorproduct progress, performance metrics, and team productivity, providing regular updates to stakeholders and the broader organization. Information changes frequentlyand important changes must be communicated effectively.
Planning: Identify and coordinate the interdependencies among projects, products, and other important strategic initiatives across an organization.
Risk Management: Define potential risks associated with projects and develop communications and strategies with product teams to mitigate downstream effects on delivery velocity.
Continuous Improvement : Develop and maintain a portfolio management process, standard, and governance methodology that supports transparent reporting to senior management.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience in project management within an Agile framework/methodology
5 or more years of technical experience
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to find simple and elegant solutions for a dynamic range of opportunities and challenges.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Relevant certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Experience with Extreme Programming
Experience in problem analysis and process
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,800 - $144,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
