Overview
Join the WINNING TEAM at IGT Global. We have a position available in Tallahassee, FL for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This position will support the IGT Florida Operations team, working with the Florida Lottery systems. The person in this role will be responsible for performing system testing activities, quality analysis, generating test documentation and executing tests to verify that the system performs as required.

Responsibilities
Develops test documentation, performs system testing, and secures, coordinates, and maintains test environment.
Records, reports, and tracks defects to accurately depict the status of the system.
TRAINS JUNIOR SITE RESOURCES AS NEEDED
Medium complexity-Quality Assurance. Has an understanding and can handle most testing activities. Is able to handle the majority of all testing activities independently, seeking guidance if needed. Site based QA, influence limited to collaborate with Software Development teams in other locations.
Complexity of applications; constant change in customer requirements.
JOB REPORTS TO SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER / TSM
Job Reports to (indirect) Process and Quality Leads (PM/ DTL, ADM)
Indirect Reports (influenced) Site Operations.
Extent decisions governed by procedures or referred up: Follows established site and corporate policies and procedures. Helps develop site QA procedures, test plans and checklists. Works under limited supervision. All key decisions governed by policy or referred to superior.
Standard requirements for research and analyses: regular analysis of data.
Opportunity and consequence of typical errors (supervision): Errors are usually correctable with additional resources. Regular opportunity of error, moderate supervision/ policy guidance.
Frequency and complexity of internal business contacts: Frequent contacts with software and operations department,
Frequency and complexity of external business contacts: Frequent and day to day contact with the local site customer.
Writes and records local RFSS's and TIR's helps in defining and reviews of site software specifications and assist local staff in operations procedure development. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field of study; or equivalent experience
2+ years related experience in software testing, quality, or related area
SEI / CMM / ITIL framework knowledge suggested

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
