Neptune Technology Group Quality Coordinator - QUALI017500 in Tallassee, Alabama

Neptune is seeking a disciplined and highly motivated Quality Coordinator who is ready to take the initiative in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity requires the ability to complete many different tasks with a careful approach and attention to detail that ensures accuracy and quality. A high level of autonomy is expected, with the ability to follow procedures and collaborate across departments to drive issues to resolution with urgency.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks relating to the Quality Management System, including maintaining Product Quality Plans; processing First Article Inspections, Supplier Corrective Action Requests, and other transactional tasks; managing the Internal Audit program and Gage Calibration system; originating workflows in Windchill; updating QMS documents; and assisting with Corrective Action follow-up and documentation. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and coordinate activities necessary to ensure progress, drive decision-making, and resolve issues quickly. Participate in process improvement activities as needed. Assist with preparation of reports, charts, and related information for the Quality department. Maintain communication boards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; QC experience preferred. Expertise with Microsoft Office tools for data entry and documentation (Excel, Word, etc.) Experience with GDandT or blueprint reading. Ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities. Ability to influence and collaborate with department heads across the organization. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Windchill PLM system and Jira task management software. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and certification requirements. Familiarity with problem-solving methods and tools (8D, 5-Whys, Pareto charts, etc.) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (VSM, SIPOC, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) Ability to train others in standards and procedures.
