Confidential Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Tallmadge, Ohio
Looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to assist in our distribution center. Our Material Handlers assist us with safely loading our trucks and unloading our railcars. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety
- Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing
- Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
- Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned
Assists in periodic inventory counts as
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
- Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport product, load/unload trucks
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to work independently, at times under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 75
- Ability to read/comprehend sales order, purchase orders, safety material,
- Detail oriented and organized, basic math skills
