Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Coordinate and execute the technical work needed to monitor, maintain, and tune Citi’s databases. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in databases against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure. Modify existing database and database management systems. Confer with programmers and analysts to identify and implement modifications. Optimize databases for increasing margin data and cater to the performance requirements of business users for data retrieval and batch processing. Specify users and user access levels for each segment of databases. Design and develop database programs and execute coding and development tasks. Conduct unit and integration testing. Write and implement codes related to tables, stored procedures, indexing, views, optimization, and partitioning. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions. Specify identifiers of databases to management systems. Once requirements are completed, develop different database modules to capture a specific functionality such as batch processing or cleanup of data. Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications. Evaluate and recommend new and existing database technologies. Produce documentation based on Citi’s developmental standards. Document technical specification of database systems and requirements. Document financial data for margin calculations as entities and the corresponding attributes. Stay up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to databases for better performance and optimization. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Analytical and Business Intelligence, Engineering (any), or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Oracle; PLSQL; Utilizing relational databases, SQL Server, and Oracle to design database programs and execute coding and developmental tasks; Writing code for tables, stored procedures, indexing, views, optimization, and partitioning; Producing documentation based on company’s developmental standards; and Implementing performance enhancements using parallel processing and multithreading. 40 hrs./wk.
