The People Services function will take on and centralize critical, operational Human Resources work with a goal of increasing collaboration, leveraging shared knowledge, and creating a more consistent employee experience. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to provide daily operational and administrative support for retirement programs including pension, 401(k), and the Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP), as well as the Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) in accordance with plan documents and provisions and overall company policies and procedures. This role will have opportunities to get involved with employee wellbeing initiatives and events. You will interact with employees, payroll, human resources, finance, as well as all other benefit service providers supporting L’Oréal benefit plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting quarterly 401(k) reconciliation, true-up, loan delinquency processes

  • Supporting the annual retirement plan audit

  • Reviewing and approving monthly pension benefit payments

  • Planning in-person/virtual retirement readiness meetings

  • Supporting acquisition activity related to 401(k), pension integration

  • Accountability for accuracy and integrity of all benefits reporting

  • Researching employment data questions for pension and 401(k) administrators

  • Supporting the annual enrollment of new SERP entrants

  • Support ongoing administration and future offers of ESOP

  • Assisting employees, retirees, and Human Resources Business Partner with retirement benefit questions

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    Required Qualifications

  • Have strong financial data analytics specifically in regard to annual testing, payroll and vendor audits, 5500 preparation and other data functions as needed.

  • Have proficiency (advanced capability) in Microsoft Office Suite of products. Specifically, Excel (VLOOKUPs, macros, pivot tables), PowerPoint (animations, embedding, Master slide management), Word, and Outlook.

  • Administer day-to-day operations of defined contribution retirement plans, including 401(k), Pension, and profit-sharing plans.

  • Reads and comprehends retirement plan provisions from plan documents, summaries of plan provisions, and related plan materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Understands, considers, and applies legislation and regulations, including but not limited to IRS, DOL, and ERISA, when preparing, analyzing and interpreting information.

  • Can maintain complete confidentiality of employee records

  • Possess a college degree in a related field (human resources, finance, etc.)

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a benefits or finance-related function with experience in retirement programs preferred.

  • Be comfortable with facilitating employee meetings and presenting benefits content, both virtually and in-person.

  • Exhibit a professional attitude with a sense of urgency in completing tasks

  • Be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
