Citigroup Compliance Risk Management Senior Officer in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Compliance Risk Management Senior Officer for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Oversee Anti-Bribery and Corruption (AB&C) initiatives including monitoring, tracking, and reporting of Anti-Bribery risk indicators. Oversee adherence to Global Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and relevant procedures to verify adherence to applicable requirements with respect to gifts and entertainment, third parties, and employment opportunities. Contribute to the design and maintenance of a comprehensive written ICRM Anti Bribery Framework, including the global policy and applicable procedures. Ensure that Dispensations and Waivers are approved and documented in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Policy Governance Standard. Identify and escalate risks to the Global Chief AB&C Officer. Direct, develop and execute mechanisms to monitor key AB&C risks, including results of the Enterprise-wide AB&C Risk Assessment. Support the implementation and utilization of the annual AB&C Risk Assessment. Provide guidance to businesses and functions on control enhancements based on the enterprise-wide risk assessments. Serve as an AB&C subject matter expert and manage the bank’s risk-taking activities and AB&C program for the Latam America region. Interact with Regional Senior Management to raise awareness of AB&C trends, emerging issues, remedial actions, or enhancements/lessons learned for the program. Assess the impact of issues and violations such as legal, regulatory, policy, reputational, and the dimensions control process gaps to help management define disciplinary and corrective actions. Conduct due diligence reviews of bribery risk across transactional and product due diligence, proprietary transactions such as mergers & acquisitions and divestitures, and deals and relationships with agents and intermediaries. Liaise with teams to oversee the execution of corrective action plans. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 7 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Compliance Manager, AML Monitoring Coordinator, or related position involving compliance and risk management for a global financial services institution. 7 years of experience must include: Working with financial crimes laws and regulations, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices act, the U.K. Bribery Act, and all applicable local anti-bribery laws for LATAM countries including Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico; Analyzing financial data to ensure compliance with financial crimes regulations; Applying knowledge of statistics to oversee, interpret, transform, track and monitor diverse anti-bribery risk indictors and perform anti-bribery risk assessments; Conducting thorough investigations into allegations of bribery or corruption; Executing anti-bribery processes including third party risk management and expense management processes; Leading remedial actions and managing financial crimes programs; and Knowledge of financial industry risks to develop tailored compliance strategies to address risk.
