The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Journeyman DevSecOps Engineer to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Fayetteville, NC.
The position is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations. Supporting activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects; that encompass the following:
Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments across multiple domains.
Establish best practices for source control, build, integration, automated test, security scanning, and delivery of applications.
Work with developers to ensure the end-to-end delivery of solutions.
Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to automate deployments.
Provide system or application administration for web-based applications and web-based COTS products.
Evaluate and recommend hardware/software enhancements as needed including management of system updates and patches.
Interpret and remediate industry standard security findings and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues in development, test, and production environments.
Monitor and optimize system performance.
Interface with developers and security team members to address scan findings.
Perform scheduled and allocated work, providing guidance on modernization initiatives, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives.
Maintain existing systems by analyzing, designing, and implementing changes to the system baselines so that baseline changes meet customer requirements.
Contribute to operational and system support documentation in accordance with the program’s configuration management procedures, regularly notifying the team lead when problems or issues arise that are outside the normal scope of work are other activities you will get to support.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
BA/BS + 3 years relevant experience, AA/AS and 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Experience with continuous delivery technology.
Experience with automated testing and code analysis.
Experience managing infrastructure as code.
Desired:
Master’s degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI
Database experience
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior experience supporting USSOCOM

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$62,800-$128,600
