ICP Group Human Resources Generalist in Tampa, Florida

Innovative Chemical Products Group (ICP Group) is a leading formulator and manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants serving the building and construction end markets. ICP Group is looking to hire an HR Generalist to join our team in Tampa, FL.  The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to our organization. This position is responsible for various HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, training, and compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for New Joiner Welcome Process to include processing data in HRIS thru the life cycle of the on-boarding process

  • Process employee transfers

  • Process employee terminations, including all steps of off-boarding

  • Maintain employee files

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining employee data in HRIS

  • Supporting new hires & managers with the online onboarding documents

  • Responsible for and supporting compliance for I-9’s and other employment related documents

  • Complete employment and wage verifications

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees

  • Perform special projects & all other duties as assigned

    Experience needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws

  • Strong administrative skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and a thoroughness in completing the work

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
