The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

This Internal Control Unit Reconciliation Analyst will support strategic programs in ISA (Integrated Services of the Americas) Operations such as the process management capability.

This analyst will support managers responsible for driving out transformational change aligned with the strategy of MUFG of the Americas.

The analyst will create spreadsheets to analyze and report data and other information to provide business justification for proposals and to provide analysis of the results of implemented change. Responsible for the resolution of business problems and questions from multiple sources.

Other administrative responsibilities will be required. Skills College degree or related work experience Microsoft Office suite (Power Query/Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook) - intermediate to proficient Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical ability – can turn data into information Reporting skills, including creating reports from scratch Strong attention to detail Competencies Ability to partner will all of employees and leaders in the bank and people with different experiences and background Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, manage time and escalate as appropriate Ability manage multiple priorities and aggressive timelines Will take ownership of an issue and follow through to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity

Strong Project Management & Problem-Solving:

 Skillful in driving tasks and prioritizing workloads.

Influential Leadership:

 Proven track record of influencing decisions and actions.

Head of Operations Internal Control Unit:

 Ensure data accuracy and process integrity at MUFG America.

 Lead teams, foster positive culture, and manage reconciliation controls.

Account Reconciliation Expertise:

 Proficient in data handling, reconciliations, and error resolution.

 Certified asset/liability ledger accounts, drive exception handling.

Additional Qualifications:

a. Financial Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial systems, money transfer processes, and commercial loan transactions.

b. Swift Message Proficiency: Expertise in decoding and interpreting Swift messages, particularly in the context of commercial loan payments.

c. Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to extract relevant information from complex messages and datasets.

d. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to accurately process critical financial information.

e. Cross-Referencing Skills: Ability to cross-reference borrower names against incoming messages to determine accurate matching.

f. Reconciliation Systems: Familiarity with reconciliation systems to ensure seamless integration of extracted data.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $65k to 85K per year depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
