Robert Half IT Support Specialist in Tampa, Florida

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is centered around providing first-line technical support to internal users through various communication channels. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the daily performance of computer systems, deploying new equipment, and collaborating with out-of-state Help Desk staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a knack for problem-solving and a deep understanding of the tech industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in person.

• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems to ensure optimal functionality.

• Deploy new and replacement equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

• Collaborate with out-of-state Help Desk staff to maintain asset tracking records/replacement schedules of desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.

• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

• Provide desktop, server, and network support, including administering and maintaining end user accounts, password resets/unlocks, and email setup and support.

• Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Deskside Support.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is essential for this role

• Demonstrated experience with Dell Technologies required

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is a must

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Mac Computers

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other Microsoft technologies

• Experience with Active Directory, including Azure Active Directory

• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware and its troubleshooting

• Skill in Configuration Management is necessary

• Ability to handle Deployments effectively

• Experience in Deskside Support is a plus

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills are essential

• Must be able to provide high-quality customer service
