Summary:
HII – Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Strategic Policy Analyst to work at USCENTCOM in Tampa, FL.

What You Will Do:
Provide Middle East Regional Analysis Support to the Strategy Branch Chief in developing analysis and proposed courses of action within the Strategy and Policy Division, CCJ5.
Assist in the production of political-military assessments, analysis, and supporting talking points for the USCENTCOM Commander, senior leaders, and staff on the named countries.
Develop information papers, memos, biographies, staff packages and other staff products in accordance with USCENTCOM templates for the Commander, senior leaders, and staff personnel.
Identify and provide an analysis, to the USCENTCOM Commander, senior leaders, and staff, equities in emerging national defense policies, interagency products, and their potential impacts on USCENTCOM plans, programs, operations, activities, and investments.
Track and analyze specific United States military activities the USCENTCOM area of responsibility, to include submissions from component commands and external agencies
Planning, assisting, and executing Action Officer Working Groups, Regional Staff Talks, and other bilateral and multilateral meetings and conferences; and collating after-action reports and developing strategic and operational-level assessments.
Prepare briefings for conferences or working groups on matters related to the USCENTCOM area of responsibility.
Assist Country Desk Officers in giving presentations to senior USCENTCOM leaders.
Develop talking points and collaborate on read ahead materials for the USCENTCOM Commander, senior leaders, and staff for engagements with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Interagency, and other military-to-military dialogs.
Assist in providing comprehensive planning and analysis in support of USCENTCOM strategies and policies for the Middle East.
The Senior Analyst must direct and perform top-level system analysis, perform trade studies, perform technical optimizations and develop high level designs.
The Senior Analyst will prepare complex operations or technical documentation, conduct reviews and deliver presentations through the USCENTCOM staff process.
The Senior Analyst will direct and participate in all phases of joint system review and development.
What We're Looking For:
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
The Senior Analyst must have experience writing documents for military General/Flag Officer signature.
The Senior Analyst must have experience briefing military General//Flag Officers and other leadership within the Department of Defense.
Current TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Requirements
A minimum of seven years of practical experience in the pertinent areas applicable to the effort; a demonstrated knowledge of DoD; and experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team is required.
The Senior Analyst must be able to direct and participate in the development of overall joint system concepts, designs and technical approaches to meet broadly stated requirements and objectives.
Working knowledge of the USCENTCOM area of responsibility and the strategic environment.
Previous experience working within a Combatant Command or Interagency Headquarters.
