Technical Product Owner for IoT platform

Kalmar is looking for a talented and motivatedTechnical Product Owner (TPO), IoT platform!
In this role, the successful candidate would lead the development of the Kalmar IoT platform as well as keeping it operational all the time. Also, the person will lead the creation and execution of a unified, organisation level maintenance process in collaboration with other cross-functional teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Manage and prioritise the product backlog, facilitating discussions to ensure alignment and clarity among the team and stakeholders. Product backlog is clear and prioritised
Support the team in working collaboratively and efficiently to maintain high productivity and quality
Facilitate collaboration between tech leads, architects, and the development team to ensure clarity on the technical aspects of tasks and features before development begins
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
Support transparent communication by articulating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
Implement process changes based on KPI performance and stakeholder feedback.
Additionally,
Ensure consistency and best practices are applied across all teams to streamline maintenance operations and enhance efficiency
Develop and standardise maintenance processes across the organisation.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience from software development
Experience in working with feature development prioritisation and stakeholder management
Experience in operations management, preferably with a focus on maintenance services and process development
Experience in a maintenance, IT service, or product development environment
Experience of working in a large software development project would be considered as a plus.
Competences:
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead and facilitate agile process ceremonies
Understanding for the different areas of software development ranging from frontend to backend services and infrastructure
Capability to communicate effectively when analysing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues together with developers and stakeholders
General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying
Scrum Master, SAFe and Kanban certifications are a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and under pressure from stakeholders
Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
